ONLINE MIXING SERVICES

Modern tools. Analog soul.

LEFTFIELD

HOUSE

DRUM & BASS

A great mix isn’t just balance, it’s world-building.

I shape tone, depth, and rhythm into a space that pulls you in, using today’s best tools to achieve the timeless sound and emotion of analog.

Modern Mixing with Classic Feel

Like most modern engineers, I work mostly in the box — but with an analog mindset.

Years of working on real consoles, recording to tape, and using outboard has shaped how I think about tone, space, and movement. I use carefully chosen emulations to capture that same musical depth inside the DAW, blending the warmth and feel of analog with the flexibility of digital.

Rather than stacking endless plugins, I rely on a refined set of tools I know intimately — EQs, compressors, saturation, and effects that respond musically and let the mix breathe. Alongside that, I draw on the latest innovations from FabFilter, Oeksound, iZotope, Slate, Plugin Alliance, DMG, and SSL to deliver the clarity, punch, and depth expected in today’s records.

It’s that mix of analog sensibility and cutting-edge processing that keeps every track sounding modern, musical, and alive.

Order

Start by using the order system to build your custom mixing package. You can choose from how many total stems you have to mix, if you need vocal tuning, vocal cleanup, etc — and you’ll get an instant quote before confirming anything. Once your order’s set, you’ll receive upload instructions for your files.

Evaluation

After you’ve uploaded your audio files, I’ll check that everything’s formatted correctly and give it a careful first listen alongside the rough mix. If I spot anything issues or if I need additional dry stems, I’ll let you know.

Mixing

Once I've checked the files, I’ll schedule the session and begin the mixing process. When it’s complete, you’ll receive your finished mix along with a short breakdown explaining the key moves that shaped the final mix.

Revisions

If you’d like any changes, I’m happy to refine the mix until it feels right to you. If you send through multiple new stems, there will be an additional charge as automation / processing will need to be altered. Minor stem changes are ok.

Final Delivery

You’ll receive the approved mix and masters in the formats you’ve requested — including alternate versions and release-ready files for streaming and download. Everything arrives clearly labelled and ready for distribution. I will also provide hi-res unmastered archive versions of the mix for future re-mastering and grouped stems (if ordered)

How Online Mixing Works

ONLINE MIXING RATES

Every mix is different. The time it takes depends on the track count, the quality of the recordings, the use of samples or sound design, and how much creative or corrective work is needed. When you order, you can choose exactly what your project requires — number of stems, alternate versions, express delivery, vocal tuning, cleaning, and more — and the system will automatically generate a quote based on your selections.

For more bespoke projects involving additional production, creative input, or heavy restoration, I can provide a tailored quote (via the form below) to match the scope of the work.

To give you a guide, here’s my standard rate range for well-recorded, pre-edited sessions that are ready to mix as soon as I pull up the faders:

up to 20 stems: £150
21–30 stems: £200
31–40 stems: £250
41–50 stems: £300
51–60 stems: £350
60+ stems: £400

Stacks of doubled, tripled, or layered parts are usually counted as one stem for pricing purposes, though this obviously reduces the ability to process or separate individual layers independently.

Mixing includes minor editing and restoration, plus up to three rounds of revisions. Optional extras such as vocal tuning, cleaning, or detailed timing adjustments can be added during checkout or quoted as needed.

You can choose whether you’d like me to handle the mastering or prefer to use a separate engineer. If I master your mix, I’ll also supply an unmastered version so you can have it remastered in the future if needed. Grouped stem exports for live sets or remix use are also available as an optional extra.

  • Typical turnaround for mixing is 5-7 working days, depending on scope and schedule. Express service is available if you’re on a tight deadline. Just tell the quote builder you need it quicker.

  • Standard masters you will receive are 16-bit/44.1k WAV (streaming/download ready) and High-res (24-bit/48–96k) for archiving, MP3 and alt versions (instrumental/radio/TV) if ordered.

Vinyl masters and DDP file for CD manufacture also availble to order.

If you order the mixing and mastering package you will also receive unmastered high-res versions of the mix for future re-mastering. Grouped stem export can also be ordered.

  • You’ll get up to three rounds of revisions with mastering and up to five with mixing. • I work across most corners of electronic and hybrid music — bass-driven club tracks, house, techno, UK garage, and breaks, right through to pop and indie-electronic projects. I love records that combine live and electronic elements, and I mix and master them to hit hard on the dancefloor while still sounding great everywhere else.

  • You can hear a playlist of selected tracks that I’ve mixed and mastered on the mixing and mastering pages.

A full Muso.ai verified playlist of all my 350+ credits including productions can be found here.

  • Both. Choose Mix & Master, Stem Mastering, or Stereo Mastering based on what your project needs.

  • Yes — I can provide extra production, arrangement, or sound design if your track needs that final lift before mixing or mastering. Just fill out the custom quote form with your project details and what you’re looking for, and I’ll get back to you with tailored options and pricing.

  • I mainly work in Ableton Live, Logic, Studio One, and Pro Tools — whichever best fits the project. To keep things consistent and avoid plugin or compatibility issues, I prefer working from exported stems rather than full sessions.

  • I can open sessions from most DAWs including Ableton, Logic, Studio One, Bitwig, Pro Tools, Reaper and FL Studio, but exporting clean audio stems is the most reliable option. It ensures no plugin, routing, or version conflicts and keeps the mix process consistent across systems.

👉 How to prepare stems and files for a mixing engineer

Include your rough mix — this helps me understand your current balance, vibe, and intent.

Also include one or two mix references that capture the sound or energy you’re aiming for. These don’t need to be identical in style — they simply give me a target for tone, punch, and overall feel. Whether it’s the vocal brightness, low-end weight, or space in the mix that you like, references are invaluable for aligning creative direction early on.

  • I work in the box with mastering-grade tools for precision, recall, and consistency, utilising the best analog emulations, aiming for warm, musical results without compromise.

  • All sessions are conducted remotely. Having previously had the facilities for attended sessions, my experience is that clients find it easier to judge their mix/master on systems they’re familiar with.
